Pro Bono work is central to the ethos of Reece Thomas Watson. We are aware that Legal Aid cuts in Prison Law have led to a large number of prisoners being unable to access legal advice, assistance or representation.
We are committed to providing access to Prison Law services to those in need who cannot afford a solicitor or do not have access to Legal Aid.
We will consider applications from any prisoner who is not eligible for Legal Aid. We cannot help unless we receive your application at least three weeks prior to any hearing or deadline.
Your Application will be reviewed by one of the Directors who will decide if it is appropriate for Reece Thomas Watson to assist you.
We take into account:
• The legal merits of the case
• Your financial circumstances
• The amount of time it will take to help you
• Your location
If we chose to take on the case, we will write to you to let you know. Cases are accepted on a step by step basis. You may receive advice or full representation.
Assistance is not guaranteed because an application is made.
If you or a friend or family member think that we can assist you, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
